The Scottish Railway Preservation Society (SRPS) was set up in 1961. It was initially based in a small museum at Murrayfield Station.
Since 1970 they have operated railtours using their own coaching stock
Since 1979 they have operated the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway
Working with Falkirk Council to develop the Scottish Railway Museum, opened in 1995.
