Scotland Track Renewals Company (STRC) is the brand name adopted by Jarvis Rail for its Scottish operations, from Spring 2006.

STRC has its main HQ at Shettleston in the west of Glasgow.

STRC had been been Network Rail's contractor for switch and crossing (S&C) renewals until 2008 when First Engineering took over.

  • WCML Track Geometry Improvement (TGI) Tamping
  • Polmont Junction (S&C - Christmas 2005)
  • Glasgow Central (S&C - May 2006)
  • Haymarket Central (S&C - June 2006)
  • Larbert Junction (S&C - September 2006)
  • Innerwick and Reston (S&C - October 2006)
  • Cowlairs West Junction (S&C - Christmas 2006)
  • Grangemouth Junction (S&C - February 2007)
  • Montrose (S&C and resignalling - March 2007)
  • Larbert Junction resignalling (May 2007).
  • Later in 2007, S&C renewal at Hunterston, Inverkeithing, Thornhill, Mauchline, Smithy Lye, Garnqueen, Monktonhall
  • Shields Junction (Christmas 2007).


STRC uses On Track Plant (OTP) supplied by sister company Fastline.
