Anniesland Connection Project - Description of the Scheme
Anniesland Connection Project

Description of the Scheme

The Edinburgh to Glasgow Improvements Programme (EGIP) will undertake the renewal of the existing slab track within Queen St High Level tunnel and the remodelling of Queen Street Station during 2016. As a blockade shall be utilised to carry out the slab track renewal, it is proposed that a new bi-directional connecting line shall be provided between the existing Anniesland branch and the Singer lines at Anniesland to permit the diversion of a limited number of E&G services to/from Glasgow Queen St (Low Level) during the blockade.
