Summerlee Museum in Coatbridge has a number of items of (non-working) railway rolling stock, and operates a heritage tramway which has a fleet of 4 (formerly 6) trams. The museum is located near the centre of Coatbridge, a short walk from Coatbridge Central (served by Motherwell - Cumbernauld trains) or a longer walk from Coatbridge Sunnyside (on the Glasgow Queen Street Low Level to Edinburgh via Airdrie and Bathgate line, served by Helensburgh / Milngavie - Edinburgh and Balloch - Airdrie trains).

The museum is owned and operated by North Lanarkshire Council, and is supported by voluntary groups the Friends of Summerlee and the Summerlee Transport Group.
